FRIDAY WATCH OF THE LORD
The Friday Watches are experiencing tremendous growth as more believers, ministries, pastors, and their teams: hungry for revival, join us each week. The atmosphere is charged with a growing passion for Jesus, and for the Holy Spirit to move with power in our city and nation. We are pressing in and pressing through as the manifest presence of the Lord increases.
The spiritual climate in San Francisco is shifting with His church uniting hearts & hands in prayer & evangelism. We strongly sense the pleasure of the Lord as we gather [PRAY & GO] in this way. Two national leaders in the Body of Christ, who visited recently, spoke of a profound recognition of the “open heaven” over our region & the great hunger found in God’s people here.
When SFHOPFAN moved into San Francisco proper from Treasure Island in early 2006, the Lord spoke clearly to us, “I am waiting to hear the sound of the unity of My people praising Me.” His Body has many members, each being of value and necessity to the whole. As we graciously receive the supply of Christ in His Body, we find greater strength & resource. There is abundant LIFE in the Blood of Christ flowing through His members! [See 1Cor. 12]

PRAY & GO! OUTREACH
I tell you, open your eyes & look out upon the fields; for they are ripe & ready for harvest… As the Father sent me, even so, I now send you. GO...Heal the sick, cast out demons, raise the dead, and tell them the Kingdom of God has come nigh unto them! [See John 4:35, Luke 4:18-19, 10:9]
It is a battle to get the saints to take their gifts to the broken and distressed outside church facility walls. The cries of the lost often go unanswered. As we take our prayer stands inside, proclaiming release of the captives, God is preparing souls for salvation outside. But it must not end there…
When state prayer leaders sought God together in Sacramento this November, Stephanie Steele shared a vision of little “castles” all across California. People inside were enjoying the Lord. But outside wailing souls were trying to get in with no clue how! Then as cords (Were they of love?) lifted these castles, beneath them an awakening giant rose to cast his shadow across the whole nation.
God spoke, “I am calling you out of the hiding place in order to demonstrate My glory…but you must lay aside your fear and I will pour new wine through you on the nations of the earth, while you celebrate My presence with extravagance!” This was another admonition from the Lord not just to pray, but to PRAY & GO! It’s time to bring in the harvest!
PRAYER INITIATIVES
The Lord has directed us to focus seasons of prayer, & specific gatherings on issues and challenges facing our city, state, communities, and society as a whole. At the 40 year anniversary of SF’s infamous Summer of Love, We worked with the local church and teams that came from across America to host a REAL Summer of Love here in San Francisco. We labored behind the scenes to enlist involvement of pastors, leaders, congregations, intercessors, and prayer ministries statewide in targeted prayer & outreach to our city addressing the underlying generational sins and its continuing outflow of cultural disintegration. At the top of the list this last year has been the protection of our children from unjust laws such as SB777, Prop 8, and the curse of abortion affecting our entire social structure.
This is no longer a day of cursing, but a day to bless and raise the banner of our limitless God over San Francisco…a city with a beautiful apostolic call. As God’s people pray & go together, a real shift is taking place in the spirit world. We see evidence of it in the openness of the lost each time we go out to Harvey Milk Square under the giant rainbow flag and into the Haight-Ashbury. We still need more female prophetic evangelists to help minister to the many women who come for “Destiny Readings” @ Peoples Café on Haight Street every Thursday 6-9pm. We will train you in this wonderful way to reach people with the Good News.
OUTREACH MINISTRY TRAINING
We encourage all who want to learn power evangelism to join one of our outreach teams. You will learn by receiving instruction, watching, and doing. In addition, Mike Dowling has been teaching PRAY & GO evangelism strategies at the request of several local congregations. Mike leads accompanying outreaches to practice what he teaches. Let us know if you are interested in hosting such training. We teach The Jesus Training Model: YOU GO & HE SHOWS!
SFHOPFAN CURRENT NEEDS:
CAN YOU HELP US OUT? * A DEPENDABLE CAR: If you have a reliable one to donate, please let us know as Mike Dowling has put 100,000 miles on his PRAY & GO van in the last 3 years. The Dowlings are now a one car family, and the van needs to be retired for home use. If you can help, please contact us right away, so we can provide you a tax receipt before the end of the year.
*REIMBURSEMENTS:
$1250 was loaned to SFHOPFAN to pay for local advertising for the wonderful Carlos Annacondia Crusade held in Civic Center Plaza in front of SF City Hall last August and broadcast live around the world on GodTV. These funds need to be reimbursed right away.

$2000 for outreach materials & SFHOPFAN brochures.

Your donations pay the operating costs of the work of this REGIONAL PRAYER CENTER: facilitating corporate city-wide prayer & outreach & providing an open place for all to come & pray with others. Our staff works on a shoestring budget, but we need your help! Offerings are tax deductible with receipts provided.
