MOVING OUT of TREASUREISLAND into
the HEART of SAN FRANCISCO
At the very first of this year, January 2007, The San Francisco
House of Prayer moved out of the Prayer
Center @ Treasure Island, along with our host
at the facility, Christian WYSIWYG Filmworks. We
had kept the All-Night Watch of the Lord there
every Friday for 15 months. Teams from SF and around the Bay and
state faithfully came week after week, month after month to join
with others in worshipping God, interceding for our region, and going
out from there to share the good news on the streets of San
Francisco.
The Lord showed us that the Prayer Center
@ Treasure Island was a little “green house”…. a
sheltered place where corporate regional worship & prayer coupled
with evangelism was nurtured and cultivated. He spoke the word “catalyst” over
us. Mike Dowling received a word of encouragement when we were attending
a gathering of Northern California prayer
house leaders. “I am now taking the treasure
from the island and spreading it around to different localities”. Since
several of the teams that participated regularly in the watches on
Treasure Island have now established gathering places in
their own vicinities, we have seen this word literally come
to pass. Our heart cry is forfull-blown sweeping
revival to hit our cities, state and nation. We are convinced that
one of the keys to this, is the power released as the Body of Christ
JOINS TOGETHER in worship, & prayer with a focus on evangelism.
A BRIEF LOOK @ 2007
- Jan: SFHOPFAN moves out of TREASUREISLAND into
the HEART of SAN FRANCISCO:
Promised Land Fellowship & Voice of
Pentecost Church host SFHOPFAN prayer watches.
- Feb: SFHOP hosts a Prophetic Worship Concert
@ Voice of Pentecost w/ Kathleen Carnali from Tennessee & Rick
Young's flag team: All
of us joined SOS @ 7th & Market Plaza the
next day for worship evangelism in the marketplace.
- March: SFHOP hosts month long REVEILLE CALL where
SF church leaders assemble to proclaim, “San
Francisco, you belong to the Lord.” As
they did, we sensed God saying, “Yes sons,
go take it!” It was a signal for "God's
generals" to arise.
- March: Author & city reacher Martin
Scott from England joined
us for the “Reveille” kickoff,
and then took us to key spots in the city to help develop long-term
prayer strategy for breakthrough in SF.

churches join to prayer walk the city.

days round-the-clock worship & prayer in San Francisco: 39
churches & ministries participate in 240 hours of non-stop
intercession for SF. Until becomes a catalyst for us to expand
our watch schedule.
- June: SFHOP adds 3 midweek night watches to our schedule:

Outreach: SFHOPFAN rents 3 booths for teams
from 5 different church ministries.
People lined up 10 deep all day long for free “Destiny
Readings”,
“Dream
Interpretations”, & “Prophetic Art”.
We hardly had enough manpower to pray
for & with all the searching hungry souls who came to us that
day.

lend their hands to 5 weeks of RADICAL Summer of Love Outreaches all
over SF & Berkeley, marking San Francisco’s 40th Anniversary
of the 67 Summer of Love, & The
Jesus Movement & preparing the ground for a
NEW Jesus Movement far surpassing the last one.

7/14/07: 2Chron. 7:14 Summer
of Love Generation called to Repentance: 24 hrs of
worship, cross-generational repentance, forgiveness & reconciliation,
followed by prayer walking specific SF locales where curses were
unleashed 40 years ago that divided the generations & birthed
a culture of immorality & rebellion.
- Aug: TENT erected @ SF’s JustinHermanPlaza: SFHOP & The
Homeless Church secure
1000 sq. ft.tent for 3 day round the clock outreach. A
dozen pray to receive Christ as local ministry teams shared His love
in song, testimony, & prayer evangelism. A different church
/ ministry took the helm every 3 hrs for 2½ days. One team
would lead worship while others ministered one on one in to those
drawn by God’s presence. Tent sides were rolled down for non-stop
worship & intercession throughout the night. It was an awesome
expression of the corporate Son of God!
- 9-2-07 “Summer
of Love 40th Anniversary Day” is
decreed by SF’s mayor as he reconfirms the false
ideologies loosed 40 years ago. Prayer leaders here & around
the world stand
in covenant agreement to declare GOD’S purposes & destiny
over San Francisco. 7
different church / ministry teams man a SFHOP Prayer Booth set
up at the city’s massive celebration in the park.
All day we ministered to hungry souls, leading dozens into encounters
w/ Christ & praying for the sick, with several outstanding
healings. The decree to reinstall the curse was defused.
- Sept: Bay Area BURN Berkeley:
SFHOPFAN takes a watch & Mike Dowling has an
open vision of a river of molten Holy Spirit fire from the throne
of God coming upon those who proclaim Christ in public. “The
earth is groaning, awaiting this purifying river to be released
through Revivalists who stand and proclaim...they will draw it
to themselves...”
- Oct: SFHOP’s Hardly Strictly
Bluegrass Festival 2 day Outreach: Adam Hood
leads a team of prayer evangelists into a sea of 100,000 gathered
for music in Golden Gate Park. They hand out 800 free Seeds CDs from Jesus
People USA. Artists,
art supplies, & an art table provided a venue to share Christ,
while a sign “Personal Destiny Readings” drew
crowds of seekers all day, wanting answers to inward emptiness.
- Oct: 24/7 BURN North Bay Another
24 hrs of passionate worship: SFHOP lends our support for
these powerful, prolonged experiences of worshipping the Father
w/ intercession for the nations. We take the last watch @ New Life
Christian Center for the 24/7 North Bay BURN.
- Nov 24/7 BURN Preview: SFHOPFAN
co-sponsors w/ Promised Land Fellowship, Pray the Bay, Campus
Awakening, JHOP, the Ark, and so many others...All longing
to be a truly unified body seeking the Glory of the Lord & contending
for a shift in the heavens & transformation of our cities & culture
by the power of God.
- Dec: SFHOPFAN “RELEASE”: United
24/7 prayer & worship is one of the foundations for city transformation.
Adam Hood gave his testimony, taught on corporate prayer, & called
attendees to consecration for the prayer movement. Practical applications
were modeled so participants would be encouraged to participate more
fully by taking / leading watches. A special focus was made on Art & Media
as powerful vehicles for expressing God’s heart in prayer & worship
with a special Arts Prayer Watch following the main session.
- Dec: Save Our Kids SB
777 Referendum Prayer Rally @ the State Capitol: SFHOP,
Nuevo Pacto Church & San Jose HOP organize & lead a
prayer rally to overturn SB777 signed into law by Gov. Schwarzenegger
which mandates that California public schools "normalize" homosexual,
bisexual, & transgender lifestyle choices in curriculums,
textbooks, & all school activities, forcing innocent
school children into real gender confusion. Mike Dowling
says, “You would have been blessed by the believers
who gathered to petition the Supreme Court of Heaven to come
to our aide. They represented the Lord with humility & maturity...

Prayer times are divided into 2 - 3-hour segments w/a different
church / ministry team leading each set.
Please find a time to join with your brethren from around the
bay as we seek the Lord together for our city, region, state, nation,
and world...
