Thanks to all of you who prayed for and/or ministered in the “Destiny Tent” @the Haight-Ashbury Street Fair Sunday June 10. MANY prayed prayers of repentance and salvation + hundreds heard the gospel intimately declared in regards to their personal lives and circumstances as they sat with tent ministers from local churches and ministries around the Bay.  Click here to read a few wonderful testimonies…

Please continue to lift every new believer in prayer, so that they find good homes in strong local churches where they will be discipled, and find help, hope, healing, and wholeness in Christ. Each was given a list of solid Bible believing churches in their neighborhoods (if they lived in SF) or their counties (if living somewhere in the Bay Area). There are LOTS of outreaches upcoming as we team with other ministries in sharing the Gospel and the love, hope, and peace only Jesus can bring.

PRAY & GO

EXPANDING

When God sovereignly initiated the launch of SFHOP in 2005, He made it very clear that we were not only to pray, but PRAY & GO. We have followed Him in that ever since, counting it a great privilege to share the Gospel in His Harvest Fields, and helping others to do the same.
In the last few years The Lord has led us to expand our outreaches. And with large numbers of people wanting prayer at SF outdoor events, many ministries have stepped up to help. We have had to rent additional booth space at the Haight Street & Folsom Street Fairs, + purchase more tents and rent more chairs to accommodate the hungry souls who stop for ministry!
All the outreaches have seen a great increase of people coming to Christ. New disciples are being raised up …This is a direct result of the Lord telling us to beMORE INTENTIONAL in sharing the Gospel & leading those He brings us to salvation!

It was obvious we needed more training to be able to present the Gospel in a simple and precise way, making room for the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin and the desire to receive Eternal Life.

Since that time, we’ve sought out and engaged experienced evangelists for practical instruction. We then all go door-to-door, into the marketplace, or to the prayer tents TOGETHER to do what we’ve learned!  Now Mike Dowling is being sent out regularly to share all these things with others in the region.

OUTREACH TESTIMONIES

TENT TREASURES

Mike Yoo ministered with me all day. He had never before done prophetic evangelism, but God immediately began to give him scriptures for our visitors, and he was able to prophesy God’s call on their lives. It was an easy to transition from blessing into sharing the Gospel of Salvation.  During the 8 hours we ministered, only two people walked away without inviting Jesus into their hearts for the remission of their sins & to receive eternal life …It was as if [each] knew deep in their hearts that this was their day of salvation.  And most of those who prayed did not want to leave the tent after receiving Him!

But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted & called to account by all you say, The secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring“Without a doubt, God is here with you.”  (1Cor 14:24-25)

DOOR TO DOOR HOME RUN

Two of us (one, a teenager) knocked at a door and let the lady know we were from local churches blessing their neighborhood that day, and did she need prayer for anything? When she told us of extreme back pain, we asked permission to lay hands on her back & pray for her. Inviting the presence of the Holy Spirit, we prayed, commanding the pain to leave. She was instantly healed!

Next we asked her if she died tonight, was she SURE she would go to heaven.  She said “No”.  So we shared the story of why Jesus came; His death & resurrection.  Asking Jesus to come into her heart, she was born again, and gave us permission to come back to bring her a Spanish Bible.

A few days later when we came, the woman’s sister and niece were visiting.  We shared the Gospel with them on the front lawn while they washed their car. Both then asked Jesus into their hearts. When the matriarch of the family arrived, we asked if she had any prayer needs. Telling us of a long standing pain in her left side, she said, “You prayed for my daughter and she was healed. Will you pray for me too?”  When we did, the pain was disappeared, and she exclaimed, “Something just left my body!” Not only was she healed, but she prayed the salvation prayer, and invited us into her home, and gave us permission to hold Bible studies there.  Since then, many of her family have received ministry & come to faith in Christ.

June 15-21 Prayer Schedule + Haight & Ashbury Street Fair Outreach

AN AWESOME REPORT from the HAIGHT-ASHBURY STREET FAIR OUTREACH

They lined up 20 deep all day to come into our pink tents. Little did they know they would receive blessings from heaven! The gift of prophecy with words of knowledge flowed like a river opening their hearts.
But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an ungifted man enters, he is convicted by all, he is called to account by all;  the secrets of his heart are disclosed; and so he will fall on his face and worship God, declaring that God is certainly among you.   I Corinthians 14:24-25

Mike Dowling’s Testimony

Mike Yoo, a Korean friend, ministered with me all day. He had never before done Prophetic Evangelism, but God immediately began to give him scriptures for our visitors, and he was able to prophesy God’s call on their lives. It was an easy to transition from blessing & healing into sharing the Gospel of Salvation.  During the 8 hours we ministered, only two walked away without inviting Jesus into their hearts for the remission of their sins in order to receive eternal life.  One young woman atheist and her mom DID say a “What if” prayer:  “Jesus if you are the Son of God come into my heart and save me and cleanse me from my sin.”  We knew the Holy Spirit was there to touch and confirm that truth to her.
After sharing what the Lord gave us for each of our visitors, we then asked if they wanted to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. Most gave an emphatic “YES”!  It was as if they knew deep in their hearts that this was their day of salvation.  And most of those who prayed did not want to leave the tent after receiving Him!
Much heart healing takes place in the pink tent, so it grieves us when so many turn away because of the long wait. We truly need more workers!  Our core team ministered from 10am – 6pm non-stop under a strong endurance anointing. Thank you Jesus for all the first timers who came to take two hour sessions.  We know each of you got a taste of this awesome opportunity to share the love of Christ with so many.

Thank you Heavenly Father for such a harvest field of hungry souls. Many heard the Gospel of Salvation for the very first in their lives!  Thanks to all of you who prayed in preparation, and those who provided prayer cover during!   Please CONTINUE TO PRAY for each one who asked Jesus into their heart to find their home in the Body of Christ.  Many were visitors to San Francisco from other cities & nations whom we will never see again.

When Jesus  saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 38  therefore ask the Lord of the harvest, to send out workers into HIS  harvest field.” Mt 9:36-38

This day shall be to you for a memorial; you shall keep it as a feast to the LORD throughout your generations – as an ordinance forever. Ex. 12:14

When the hour had come, Jesus reclined at the table, and the apostles with Him. And He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; for I say to you, I shall never again eat it until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.” Luke 22:14-16

The feast of the Passover has been celebrated by the Jews for thousands of years. Our early Church fathers ,the first Christians also celebrated Passover .
It is the remembering of the great story of their redemption from bondage in Egypt & it’s climax: the Passover Lamb sacrificed; its blood put on the doorposts of each home as an act of faith in obedience to God. So the Lord passed over them when He visited a final judgment of death upon the first born of Egypt.

The liturgy of the Passover Seder overflows with symbolism of our redemption from slavery to sin through Jesus’ sacrifice. THE LAST SUPPER, WHICH HE ATE WITH HIS DISCIPLES WAS THE PASSOVER MEAL.

The Seder observance with scriptural teaching lasts approx 1½ hours. Following this we will share a meal together

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING A DISH
PLEASE NO SHELLFISH or PORK
Let us know what dish(es) you can bring, and if you can help with
preparation, serving, setup, or cleanup.
• MAIN DISHES • SALADS • VEGETABLES

NO BREAD
We will eat unleavened bread (matzos) as the Jews did when they left Egypt in haste.

This should be a very special intimate evening with the Lord and one another!

Quote

“I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had no where else to go. My own wisdom and that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day.”
